ISLAMABAD: Pakistan wants meaningful dialogue with India and there is no other option except to hold talks with a sincere intent to resolve all issues, Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir told foreign envoys at a briefing held at Foreign Office in Islamabad Friday.
He said terrorism is a big challenge for Pakistan also but India should not hold the peace process hostage at the hand of this single issue.
Bashir said that the delay in the resumption of composite dialogue had also affected the SAARC activities.
The foreign secretary said both countries had agreed to remain in contacts despite differences each other stance.
To a question about Mumbai probe, the top diplomat said that investigations were still underway and no deadline could be given in this regard. So far, investigations are not complete even in India, where the incident took place, he said
